Hatha Yoga with a focus on your personal constitution and needs

Your Body Matters!
And most of all it matters to you, your present and future wellbeing.

I am a long term practitioner of Yoga who has shared Yoga with friends and stranger for some time.
As I am now beginning my business I am, for the month of june available when you are.

Qualified to teach I am offering private and group yoga lessons.

Private lessons are great for you if you have a busy schedule but don't want to neglect your body and mind. You might wonder what your mind has to do with your body: a whole lot. Just think of times you had to chase a busy day's tasks, running out of time and you will know the emotional impact.
Group lessons are a wonderful way to have space in your practice to tune in deeper to your awareness aided by the instructions given to the whole class, other individuals as well as you. Group lessons are a good way to learn to be responsible for your body. Your awareness will increase over time, along with strength, alignment, and of course overall wellbeing.

We have all read the reports that say science can now prove that mediation helps health and also helps heal in sickness. You don't have to practice Yoga to meditate. Not all Yoga includes meditation... or does it?

I think no matter if you practice Ashtanga Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, any form of Hatha Yoga or a very tightly choreographed fitness routine at your Gym, as soon as you are absorbed in whatever it is you do, that can of course be something other than physical exercise, too. As soon as you are absorbed you actually are in one of the many possible forms of meditation. Why is this good? Because it calms your mind, because your mind slows down, focuses. Maybe you are still distracted and thinking about life, work, shopping, health ..

Even if you are: in my experience thoughts are clearer and I personally treasure this time of Savassana (the time at the end of practice where for a few minutes you lay on the floor relaxing your body) - I have solved some of my biggest life-riddles in this time. So it wasn't the pure meditation I maybe might aim at, but it still changed my day for the better.

Rewind to Yoga.

Would you like one to one lessons? Or would like like to practice in a group? Both ways are great. One to one and you learn in a very personalized way or group practice in which you learn also by hearing what I might suggest to other students.

There is so much to say and I believe you can sense my enthusiasm for Yoga Practice and Yoga Sharing.

Prices from £25 per hour, group lessons starting at £6 per class if paid and booked in advance, otherwise £8 for drop in yogis and those aspiring.
